I use the freezer method but never heard of the oven method before! WOW. I have actually broken a few neat jars after the freezer didn’t work and the butter knife slipped too hard. This would have been great to know as a few have had to go in glass recycling. :0( Good tips!
PLEASE do not thorw away the remaining candle wax. If you do not use it yourself give it to someone that does. You can either re-melt it for self made candles or make kindling bits to be used starting a fire e.g. in your charcoal grill. I use empty toilet rolls. I soak them in the melted wax, let dry and use to start a fire on a fireplace. You can make these much nicer looking of course. There are videos of this in Youtube.
